Q. Zhaoearned a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Telecommunications from Xian Jiaotong Universitty in China at age of 19 and a Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, San Diego in 2004. Q was named as one of the “13 Badass Immigrants In Technology” by 2013 Business Insider and was the only female entrepreneur there. Q enjoys hiking, backpacking, and salsa dance in her spare time.

Co-Founder

Paul Loearned a M.S. from Stanford and B.Eng from HKUST, a serial entrepreneur from Hong Kong and a foodie passionate enough to have created his own food discovery startup. Paul held senior management & architect positions at Yahoo!, where he built Yahoo!'s membership services from the ground up and has invented a social network aggregation platform that powers Yahoo! Updates. Paul has also been a principal consultant at PayPal where he led a team to develop PayPal Wallet.

Software Engineer

Sunny Yan earned his Master in Computer Engineering at Northeastern University. After graduation, he moved to Silicon Valley to join 2RedBeans. As a developer, he likes studying the latest technologies and enjoys challenges everyday. Since he came from Guangdong, a place famous in gourmet food, he's also a big foodie and loves cooking in his spare time. He thinks that both 2RedBeans and cooking bring people happiness.

UI/UX Designer

Victor Chang graduated from UCSD with a prestigious degree in Math & Computer Science. Obviously, he then started a pop-culture website which he designed, wrote, marketed and managed. Looking for a new challenge and a place to hone his countless skills, he joined 2RedBeans where he now makes sure users understand what a button does and why they should push it.

Software Engineer

Tianqi Wugraduated from University of Southern California with GPA 4.0. Instead of a typical nerd, he is more like a challenger. Before graduation, he already had a start-up with his friends in bay area. By developing the entire back-end, front-end and mobile app all by himself, he gained plenty of valuable experience. When a great opportunity knocked, he realized that it’s time to move on. He’s now dedicated in bringing more reliable and more efficient products for 2RedBeans users.

Business Development

Shiya Tian honor student graduated from San Jose State University business marketing major, specializing in studying and analyzing customer psychology and behavior. Shiya is responsible for online advertising and data analysis at 2RedBeans, including bringing up creative ads idea and content, media buying and planning, tracking ads results on different advertising platforms (Google Adwords, Baidu), and continually improving online performance through A/B testing or generating new initiatives. In addition, she is very active in Silicon Valley startups and business events, just say “Hi” to her if you see her around.

Event Manager

Meixue Lu came from Guangzhou and graduated from Macau University of Science and Technology with a degree in Electronics & Information Technology. She is a big fan of art and loves to combine art with science. After graduation and working in a TV company as a Marketing assistance in Guangzhou, she decided to study business in US.

UI Designer

Tiffany SunGraduated from Academy of Art University with MFA degree in Web Design & New Media. She likes to try new things for inspiration. She also likes to visit flea markets. She believes everything has its own story. Reading and watching movies occupy most of her free time. Sometimes she likes to take a short trip with her friends. She joined 2RedBeans in 2015, and hopes to help singles find love.

Senior PR Manager

Anita TsaiAnita is in charge of developing PR strategy and maintaining media relations for 2RedBeans. Prior to join 2RedBeans, she worked for newspaper and broadcast media in Taiwan and an e-commerce company at Silicon Valley. Anita joined 2RedBeans in 2014. She earned a master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida. She enjoys traveling, hiking and exploring new restaurants in Bay Area.

Marketing Specialist

Serenawas a producer of a news column that she developed into one of the most popular columns on NetEase News. Internships at Economic Observer, Tencent and People’s Daily during college helped expand her media resources and marketing experience. She also volunteered during the Wenchuan Earthquake, Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and at Alashan SEE, an NGO. She is a pragmatic idealist yet full of passion. She joined 2RedBeans after graduating in 2016 with an MBA as a marketing specialist. She's responsible for brand building, global marketing strategy and hopes to help more singles find their loved ones.

Project Manager

Bessie Chengraduated from Shanghai Normal University. She worked as a senior manager for a leading PR company and was responsible for media management, project coordination and event planning. Projects she was in charge of include Volvo, Maserati, Safe Kids Worldwide Organization, among others. After graduating with a Masters in Communications, she joined 2Redbeans as a High-End Matchmaking Project Manager. She hopes to help Chinese singles find their perfect partner through one-on-one matchmaking. She is very professional, detail-oriented, approachable and eager to help. She spends her spare time cooking for herself and friends.

Will Bunker, co-founder of the online dating service that became Match.com, the world’s largest dating site. Serial entrepreneur and angel investor. He is passionate on helping young entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams.
